It might actually place a bit of urgency and caution on the player perhaps? Might also give you a bit of, you know ... a bit of a challenge for once?

Cocaine.

Seriously, I'm not kidding. You give soldiers cocaine, and they'll take down armies even when they're full of bullets themselves.

Kratos style.

So Kratos is just really a soldier in nowadays time tripping balls? Makes sense.

As far as the healing bullets idea, i remember MoH:AA had 'freeze-tag' TDM. Shoot a laser out of your eyes to revive dead team-mates.

Had to vote no in protest of not having a "FPS's Suck" option.

waiting for health to regen is just as unrealistic as a magic box that fixes wounds.

I've been playing a lot of Warhawk again and it has health packs. I have no problem with that. When playing games online you usually stand a better chance at surviving with health packs than you do with regen.

The aim for me has never been realism. The issue for me is in the competitive sense, where health regen makes no sense.

Dying to buy a PS3 for Uncharted 2 but my pride says no. And I still love EA.

Only thing about health packs that worry me in MP is that everyone will be scrambling to get them. Medics are good.
