It blantantly is backwards compatible with a few hundred PSOne games. Such hits as Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped |

Some models do some models don't. but Saying it isn't is wrong E6. It does have backwards compatibility

They do. It's just none of the new ones do because Sony's completely nuts. of course, by now Xbox360 has better BC.

I dunno...the BC PS3 model only last like a year, so there's a small minority of them still out there. That and a lot of them have probably broken by now - and Sony is content with replacing those with non-BC models |
