A. Will you buy it? B. How much do you think it will sell/Will it be successful? C.Is it worth for (Most likely Sierra) to waste time on Crash and should just pass it on? I will most likely buy it, and I think there are fans that will buy it. As Crash has been around and outselling everything. Even beating franchises like TLoZ and Pac-Man. Plus, Crash fans are way more loyal then Spyro fans. But, I really hope Sierra has nothing-to little to do with the game. As their choices of developers and ideas has turned Crash bandicoot into a kid comedy infectioness disease of fail. (Lol?) In other word. Crash used to look badass, and was a smoothly played game. After Crash's change, things have become quite weird with the series. in fact, Sierra could eventually kill crash. Like they utterly destroyed Spyro. yes, i know Sierra doesn't REALLY MAKE the games, but they hold all the blame. What do you think?

I think nobody actually cares. Crash is even less relevent than Sonic these days.

After the PSone era, Crash pretty much "Crashed" and failed in every way... it'll take almost forever to get back on its feet... |

Never mind that Crash was only relevant because Sony made it relevant, like Spyro. Really he was alway inferior to Banjo, Sonic, and Mario, even if Bomb will claim other wise because he hates Mario (LOL Sony fanboy-ism). In fact if you wanted a PS game to rival those you'd need Klonoa. It's more like Crash vs Bubsy, Gex, or Sparkster. Although at this point you could claim Crash > Sonic with little descent. I'm just not sure it's possible to make people really care about him again. He was always little more than a decent plat-former with an anthropomorphic animal(which ripped of Taz in many ways) in a sea of copy cats.

Crash wasn't vastly inferior to Banjo or Sonic at the time, Sonic didn't even have a proper game when the PS Released, 3D Blast on the Saturn was a Mega Drive port. He may not have been the most original character design, but the games were fun and well designed, which is the difference between Crash and Bubsy. Naughty Dog made three great platformers and the only kart racing game that ever came close to Mario Kart and it's been raped ever since. |

I happen to like the first Bubsy though, no so much of what I played of Crash at the time. Of course lots of people recognize Bubsy for trying 3D and failing horribly, even though it was a solid series before that. Gex and Sparkster(Rocket Knight) also were reasonable fun games, although people might attack the Sparkster sequels(SNES/Gen). I just never saw anything that set Crash out for the pack, like those either. I admit Sonic on the Saturn is a poor comparison as there was no true Sonic game as it got canceled. But What they did at their original peak was more poignant. Well less so Banjo, but the weird double character physics Bear with Bird in Back Pack is different. It's not to say he was crap then, its just it didn't do anything special. Australian anthropomorphic animal that spins and has no neck doesn't really cut it. Also at the time the developers were pretty much unknown, so selling was all down to Sony. However one would have thought if they had cared that much they would have bought the series to keep it Sony. Also some people hated how Crash controlled with out analog, so it didn't help in his successful overall. |

I loved Crash. More than Spyro or mario or whoever. They were fun and well designed and that's all I need. Kart game was awesome too.

| Crash was spoofed on The Simpsons. Banjo was not. Therefore Banjo was clearly not on the same level as Crash.

The point is Crash was only relevant in the PS1/N64 years. Nor did he maintain the almost universal appeal for NES/SNES Marios or the Genisis Sonics, even when he was good. I wouldn't even suggest it if I hadn't known people at the time who hated Crash, and not because they were Nintendo/Sega Fanboys either or crazy like Bomb. | |

| Which is really too bad because for all intents and purposes the Banjo games were like the spiritual successors to Mario 64 while Nintendo spent the rest of the gen moving Mario on to parties, and golf, and other non-traditional Mario games.
