Do you mean RR as a series or just this iPhone version? Ridge Racer is the best racing franchise ever!

is that why the inferior Need For Speed completely destroys it in sales? people think the time limit is just ridiculous. That why there are more Wipeout buyers.

SFIV released for iPhone STREET FIGHTER IV for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store Reviews have been favorable Street Fighter IV Out for the iPhone: A Mini Review Round-Up 'Street Fighter 4' – Released and Reviewed as We Get Our Fight On! (Review) | Touch Arcade Even GAF loves it The Official iPhone/iPod Touch Gaming Thread - Page 339 - NeoGAF YouTube - Street Fighter 4 Iphone 3G Sample YouTube - Street Fighter 4 iPhone Game Hands-On Preview YouTube - Street Fighter IV / 4 - iPhone & iPod touch - Gameplay and vs. Mode Bluetooth official game trailer I'm not gonna buy yet, I'm not sure it'll play smoothly on my iPhone 3G, good thing I'm upgrading this summer ![]() --------------- The iPhone and iPod touch are becoming more and more a serious gaming platform, there could be a chance if this keeps up it'll probably overtake the PSP. A new iPhone this summer and a new iPod touch late fall will push it faster. Maybe even bringing the iPod touch down to $170, or double the capacity at $200. With the state of the iPhone OS gaming and more games on Mac OS there never been less reason for gamers to hate Apple.

9. Doom Classic: Doom continues its dominance over every electronic device that has a display with the release of Doom Classic. It delivers exactly what you want from a re-release; the same gameplay, the same audio, the same overall experience, complete with controls that are tailed specifically for the iPhone. However, if you're all Doom-ed out, id Software have gone and released their other FPS classic, Wolfenstein 3D as well, so you can choose what to shoot -- demons or Nazis. $6.99 8. Vay: The Sega CD is one of those systems that never really got a fair shake, and Vay is proof of that. Released into the App Store during the initial launch window, Vay was overshadowed by new games like Enigmo and Trism, and while both are good in their own right, neither of them are a classic RPG from Working Designs on a system that most people never played. If random encounters and sprites make up what you think is a good game, then you should absolutely pick up this tried-and-true title. $4.99 7. Giana Sisters: What? You've never heard of the Giana Sisters? Well, perhaps you should bone up on your Nintendo history. The original game was developed for PCs back in 1987 before Nintendo slapped an injunction on the company releasing it saying that it was too much of a rip-off of Super Mario Bros. to be sold. Nintendo won, and the Italian sisters disappeared for 22 years, only to recently reappear on the DS and the iPhone. Proof that time heals all wounds; you can now download the updated version of the game for $2.99, or spend $90 importing the DS version from Europe. It's your choice. $2.99 6. Final Fantasy: The game that saved Square and started the Final Fantasy series can now be worshipped in the App Store. The first, and arguably the best, in the FF series takes you back to where it all began, and puts you in the role of the Light Warriors as they set out to save the world. If you're only familiar with the series after it went 3D then you should consider this game a homework assignment. Now get to work. $8.99 5. Myst: If you're one of those people that have room for a little more confusion in your life, or if you just like to get your brain juices flowing, then it's time that you finally get around to playing the classic adventure game Myst. Originally released in 1993, and set on an island just as perplexing as the one on LOST, Myst will bend your brain six different ways before you figure out exactly what's going on the whole time. $4.99 4. Dragon's Lair: The one-time pinnacle of arcade gaming is now available for you to take wherever you go. Dragon's Lair was the first arcade game to use digital imagery, as well as pioneer quicktime events back in 1983. In the game, you have to time your movements perfectly to help navigate Dirk the Daring through the foreboding castle so he can save his beloved Princess Daphne. Sure, it's been released on just about as many platforms as Doom, but the iPhone's crisp screen and portability really makes this version stand out. Alternatively, if you prefer space adventures to dragons, Dragon's Lair's futuristic counterpart Space Ace is also available. $4.99 3. Rayman 2: The Great Escape: Rayman started off as an impressive 2D platformer back in the late 1990s, but it wasn't until he went 3D in Rayman 2: The Great Escape that he really came into his own. Playing a 3D platformer on you iPhone might be a little wonky, but that doesn't mean that you should pass on this title because it's just fun. At the very least you should pick it up because the little guy can't afford limbs – he's just a bunch of floating body parts held together by nothing. Help a brother out. $6.99 2. Rise of the Triad: Dark War: Back in the day, everyone had their favorite FPS. Some preferred Duke Nukem 3D, others loved Hexen, but I always thought there was something special about Rise of the Triad. I mean, in reality, there wasn't a whole lot that was unique about ROTT except for the fact that it was the first FPS (that I remember) to incorporate springboards to let you jump, as well as multiple characters with different attributes that made the game different every time you played it. Either way, if you missed Dark War the first time around, then now's your best chance to learn about 1990s FPS games. $4.99 1. Bust-A-Move: Bust-A-Move may be the perfect procrastinators' game; it's easy to pick up, and can go on for hours and hours. You may know it by other names like Snood, Puyo Pop, and Puzzle Bobble, but Bust-A-Move is the original, and stars Bub and Bob from the classic Bubble Bobble series. And now you can take their bubble-popping fetish game on the road with you wherever you go. Pop. Pop pop pop. Pop. $4.99 APPlicable - Classic Games On The iPhone - UGO.com
