It's not like Sony is losing business anyway.

They are and you are a part of the problem. The other part of it is people like me who refused the PSP on principal since launch. I still refuse it, but this game was too great to just ignore.

I refused the PSP as well, but for 25 bucks, how could you go wrong? I could sell it for double easy. I planned on selling it, but just didn't.

There's a reason why I sold my PSP and bought a DS instead

Fixed.

if you actually wanted to go about this morally, you'd buy the game legally then download it so you can play it.

4 hours indicates an issue. I have a PSP-1000 with the original battery and I get more than 4 hours, buy a higher capacity battery or something.

6 hours is the max you can get out of the PSP, I'm willing to bet that's what you get out of it too. But if you play most of your games out of a memory card then you'll prolly squeeze an extra hour or two.
The +4 hours I got is in line with the reported battery life for the PSP.
SMT: Persona is UMD heavy. Sometimes even mid battle it accesses the UMD, and that's with UMD cache turned on. That's prolly hurting it more

The battery is in good order, the system says it has +6:30 hours in it, and it is fully charged.

How do I know if I have WiFi on or off? maybe that's hurting the battery life?
Is it having the switch to the left means it's on?

Still awful regardless. I get 16 hrs of gameplay on the DS Lite with the lowest brightness setting. I can barely squeeze 5hrs out of the PSP2000.
