The only problem I see with that is it might be kind of annoying trying to stay in the 3D sweetspot while you move around and aim the 3DS at the table. And that you'd have to do it at home. But that's yet another strange feature the 3DS opens up for new gameplay possibilities. Really makes you want to try this stuff out for yourself with a real 3DS. This reminds me of something... I remember some Japanese game for the DSi that featured face tracking in a way that let you turn the DSi screens into a virtual window into the game. That is, you could change your viewing angle of the DSi, which would be tracked by the camera and change the viewing angle of the game in the same way, giving the illusion of 3D. Wonder if any 3DS games would take advantage of that. |
