Armor tank, Shield tank or structure tank? Make sure you put on some good 'named' mods to your ship and remember EM hardeners work best for shields.

A "damage control" module is practically needed in such cases as it adds 50% resistance to all damage types. It also uses much less capacitor than any other active hardeners.
