Akitas are nice dogs, but I couldn't deal with all that hair everywhere.

My lab sheds year round. It's not even like clumped either, it's seperate stands of thin hair everywhere. She can't even swim in pools because it clogs the filter.

Yeah, they'll pretty much lose hair all year. They do lose more than normal around summer, for the most part. They also lose TONS when they're stressed or depressed...just like people! |
