Agreed.

Microsoft is/should be way more worried about Google than they are about Apple.

And Oracle now that it has acquired Sun. Larry Ellison is not a fan of Microsoft, he dreams of one day making Windows redundant. Though, with Sun under his control he's going after IBM.

In addition to Windows and Office, the enterprise/server market is a strong hold for Microsoft.

The rest of their ventures: XBox, Zune, Windows Mobile, Surface, online and Bing are a drop in the bucket.

Apple should be a blip in Microsoft's radar and nothing more. Apple never cared about market share and probably will never will. They don't want to be the Fords of the world, they wanna be the BMWs of the tech industry. High margins, profitable and the hell with market share.

Google is the aircraft carrier slowly but surely getting ready to take Microsoft down.

Google entered the mobile OS market with a strong OS, probably Microsoft' biggest competitor since they are adopting an open licensing scheme. Some OEMs brought Android to netbooks, Google also is working on Chrome OS. I can see Google overtaking Apple in the OS market within 5 years -not impossible since Apple only has ~5%-, unless they commit a major fuck up.

Google is getting serious about office apps, and they are playing Microsoft's game by embrace, extend and extinguish.

I love Google. Everytime I read about how they are growing and expanding I feel warm inside. Which confuses the hell outta me seeing them and Apple battling it, who am I supposed to root for? It is like your mom and dad fighting and you don't know what to do about it :\

Nice growth for Android there.

Apple is growing too. A full 0.3 of growth

I'm not sure what do corporates find in Blackberry, then again I've never used them and have ZERO interest in them. I'm not a corporate person, last conference at work, I was playing Final Fantasy on my iPhone.

I'm not sure what it is, I'm not a big fan of Blackberry myself, but I have some friends who own their own businesses and they all have Blackberries. Maybe it's mandatory when you start your own business?

Some say it is its messaging capabilities. But you can always use SMS.

I can access my work calendar, contacts and mail just fine from my iPhone, I don't see why I'd want a Blackberry. Plus, if I really cared about Exchange support I'd get a WinMo phone.
