What were you expecting though? I loved the transformers cartoons as a kid, but take a good hard look at them now and you'll see that they're pretty shit as well.

Nothing but a marketing tool to sell toys.

Dying to buy a PS3 for Uncharted 2 but my pride says no. And I still love EA.

Whether or not the cartoons were good through rose-tinted glasses or actually good is neither here nor there.

Michael Bay can't write for shit and his movies all devolve into a CGI-induced seizure load of nonsense that doesn't resemble anything close to what I'd consider a good plot or story. That's the problem.

If you're telling me nobody on the face of the earth can write a somewhat compelling story about giant robots from another planet that transform into cars and other various modes of transportation, then I feel sorry for humanity as a whole.

The thing about Michael bay is he thinks blurs mean action. in fact, people though hi idea might work, and used blurred action in G.I. joe.

I never really followed Michael Bay or went out of my way to see any of his films. Heck, I may have seen a lot of his movies and just didn't know because I could care less about the guy.

What I DO know and what I HAVE seen I'm completely disappointed in. The guy's a hack and why people are actually excited to have him part of a film they think they might enjoy is beyond me. If you think you might enjoy something and then learn that MB is directing that film you might enjoy - just get it right out of your head now that it'll be any good. It'll be a bunch of strobe-light action sequences that make you want to vomit in your lap.

There's a flash of this, a flash of that, a boob, a testicle and then an explosion. By the time it's over, you're not sure what happened or who was involved.

He wasn't a very focused actor. makes Steve Odekerks Kung Pow movie look like a god.

You didn't know? He made a movie taking old kung fu flick(s) mixing it with his own, and made a movie that made no sense that costed millions that nobody brought. But he is still making a sequel.
