Yeah, you have to really keep up with this stuff constantly to know what's what. At work, nobody speaks in full words anymore.

reasons why Chrome sucks: -It does a poor job of rendering web pages. -It is buggy The only reasons I need to discredit a browser. IE, Firefox, Opera, and Safari all do a better job of those 2 points, which are the most important things for a browser. Speed of loading webpages, ease of use, etc. all nonsense if it cant do those 2 basic functions properly.

You are wrong on both. When did you last use Chrome? go and try it again. I've been using it as my default for a year, no troubles here. Latest Chrome stable is 4.0, it seems you've only used the early betas in 2008. Chrome changed a lot (under the hood) since then. Rendering engine is same as Palm webOS, Android and Safari. Chrome uses WebKit. It renders pages just fine, nothing wrong I've ever noticed. It is the most stable browser I've ever used, I can't stress this fact enough. Neither Firefox, IE, Safari ror Opera come close. Each tab, plugin and extension is isolated (separate process). If one crash it doesn't bring Chrome down with it. Extensions update automatically without needing restart. You can install and uninstall extensions without restarting. You can kill misbehaving tabs/plugins/extensions.

| Was it development or beta channel? those do get buggy sometimes, but the stable channel is stable. Firefox is adopting some of Chrome's multiprocess architecture code. I have no idea what could be wrong, as Chrome been perfect for me since late 2008, ignoring some early bugs.

I might try it again later, but next on the list to try for me is the latest Opera. Opera has been on a roll lately with its mobile browsers, they're basically untouched as far as mobile browsers are concerned, hell, on Sprint's Windows Mobile phones, the Opera browser is the DEFAULT browser, instead of Internet Explorer Mobile. And they have been very standards compliant, so I will give it a go soon, as the newest Firefox pissed me off with the new Themes addition, I think its crap personally, much preferred having my old Anycolor extension.
