A game you've never heard of for PS2

Seek and Destroy (Ps2)



Seel and Destroy, it's a war based game where everyone is tanks. Yes, thats right. Talking tanks in a middle of a war. The king of one of the countries/Empires/kingdoms is a gold tank.

Plot:"In 12:04 ca (or qi) calendar, The Q-Stein empire declared war on the 2 nearby kingdoms. The Proton kingdom mobilizes a defence team to stop the Q-Steins. In 36:10 op calender (Whatever there made up calender is.) The Q-Steins have captured the Kingdom of Nebula and taken over 75% of the Proton empire. The Protons, still fighting, will the tables eventually turn?" Yes, the plot is strange.

Good things: The game is very imaginative. It has over 150 customizable tanks that of which some are based off real Tanks. In fact, you can select your people/tanks by country. There are so many things to put on your tank. Which of the likes include radar, which makes you see enemies further away on screen, including planes. You can have night vision equiped, which is required for some missions. Weapons on your tanks like, Canons, Long range bullets, explosive bullets, grenades, Flame Throwers, machine guns, Missile launchers that launch 4-9 missiles at the same time, Speed machine guns, smoke bomb, lasers, and 34 other add-ons. The best is the sea and air parts. The air parts make your tank fly High or low depending on the Part for 5secs-12secs-infinite. You can throw some grenades or mines below to kill enemy tanks. But, some have anti-aircraft guns, Same with the sea parts. Except it makes your tank float on water, and depending on the part, you can move faster. The sea parts are usually used to fight battleships (Yes, you fight battleships with a tank.) Tanks are ordered, light, normal, and heavy duty.

Bad things: The boss music sounds like someone got murdered. Plus, some parts are just plain annoying. Like when you have to PROTECT ESCORT 3 BATTLESHIPS (They don't even fire.) to the capital of the kingdom of Nebulia. You and the 3 ships get attacked by 12 battleships, 30 helicopters, and an aircraft carrier that deploys 7 planes with missiles. And that's just 1 of the annoying difficult parts. Also, to save you have to go to a garage. Which lets you customize your tank or change into a new one THEN customize it.

Unimagination up 5%: This is because general Ahmadhi, which you have to save like 5 times (And apparently he ends up dying.) looks EXACTLY like Major Rodeschild. Lack of imagination there.

(I like how their are no people in the tanks, and the tanks are their own race of people.)

Graphics: They are actually quite decent and colorful.

Gameplay/Controls: Wow, if you don't play while holding the R2 button (Which makes the camera follow while you move.) Then it will be annoying as shit. You would have to keep using the Turret rotate buttons all the time so you can shoot while avoiding fire. You also don't have rotate camera controls so without holding R2 you would keep having to adjust the camera constantly.

Overall= 7.8/10:
The game has many modes such as Mini game, versus, story, and arena. The game even has a place to look at the tanks you unlocked as well as what war and country they're from. Has a sound test screen, as well as a spiffy animation trailer if you wait at the start menu. The best part is though, YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR TANK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME ALMOST ANY TIME! With all the other weapons I have yet to mention.

I've seen this game at the game store, but the graphics looked too N64ish, and it was released by Conspiracy Entertainment, one of the Wii Shovelware makers, so 2 red flags for me to not get this game, but you make it sound like its plausibly fun.

Nope. Showelware is exclusive to the PS2 so shovelware remains Wii only.
