15 years already? Good grief, although the PS1 does seem like decades ago. My God, how many years has it been since the 1st Nintendo? |

Something that looked like this was my first console. Although, mine didn't even look this cool, and I don't think it was made by Atari - but it only played Pong: ![]() I forgot to mention - the console and its games were only for newbs. No health packs, you see. Last edited by rounds1; December 3rd, 2009 at 10:12 PM. | |

I had no interest in the PS1 until I first played Parappa the Rapper. Shortly thereafter I decided I was tired of the constant delays for N64 games so I got a PS1. With the PS2 I got Parappa 2 the day before I got the actual console to play it on. The PS3 was just an impulse buy. I hadn't been paying much attention to any of the next gen consoles up to that point and this gave me something to use the HD part of my TV for.

I got the N64 in '96, and the next year I remember one of my friends got a PS1 and I tried Crash Bandicoot, it was love at first sight and I got one for christmas the same year. When the PS2 launched I had to get one so I got myself a job as a paper boy and bought one 6 months after release. I think I got the PS3 late '07 can't remember correctly |
