|  Mount and Blade
This game KICKS ASS. The game, I kid you not, was made by TWO people. And its larger and more in depth than most RPG style games. It basically plays like a traditional Computer RPG/Strategy game, but you get full on combat based on realism, its a medieval game, but no fantasy, you can die easily, and you can command armies. The game is pretty effing epic Someone tell me this game is NOT epic, after watching these: YouTube - Mount & Blade YouTube - Re: Mount e Blade gameplay(maxed out) YouTube - Mount & Blade - The Slaughter at Castle Tehlrog Lots of free mods for this game too, including a Star Wars mod http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVLtyVK7tyU And at the end of the month, the long awaited Multiplayer expansion, Warband, comes out. Its in open beta right now I believe. The game is 29.99 from Steam and such, but if you want it on the cheap, Newegg has it for 9.99

You're really behind man. Mount and Blade is so 2 years ago.

It doesnt get enough attention though. And Im looking forward to Warband, the multiplayer expansion, I plan on getting it as soon as I get bored of the original game.

I thought fighting with the sword when riding a horse felt a little clunky or maybe it was just me

it took me some getting used to. It seems like the game itself determines what would be the best swing rather than giving you a way to choose how you want to swing it. Usually it makes a good decision but occassionally it would want me to do an overhead hack, which rarely works on horse. Jousting is pretty epic though, next time I make a character Im gonna focus on polearms.
