The NexGen Wars Official Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Thread

What we know:

12th June, 2008
PS3 Exclusive (no, really)
Will implement an OctoCamo system similar to the Predator
Any pattern aqcuired with OctoCamo can be saved for later use (coolness)
Combat controls revamped
It's the final Metal Gear Solid Game (at least in this story arc?)
No more jungles and snake eating
Separate Online game being developed also
Made to support Dualshock 3 and Sixaxis from the get go

Returning cast:
Meryl Silverburgh
Raiden
Hal 'Otacon' Emmerich
Eva and Roy Campbell
Snake
Revolver Ocelot (aka Liquid Snake, his body has been "posessed")

I don't think I can describe my happiness at this games impending release.

No doubt the game will contain countless CRYPTIC METAPHORS.

Looking around quickly at some game sites here are release dates listed.
Futureshop.com - Sat. May 17th
Bestbuy.ca - Sat. May 17th
Bestbuy.com - Tues. May 13th
ebgames.com - Tues. June 17th
amazon.com - Mon. June 30th

So even Canadian and American Best Buy sites can't agree on a release date.

to be honest, i can't really think of anything to talk about on this game...other than, will snake actually die?

One thing I was never particularly fond of in MGS game was the color schemes. Every one of those screens were screwed to a certain color (the top 2 were yellow and the bottom was green).
