Yea, you weren't too bad. At least you didnt run around with a repair kit like... 40% of the newcomers.

Im a vet though. You'll have to put some more time in to get to my level. But a promising start nonetheless.

I haven't used a repair kit yet. I just always play using my first loadout which is repair kitless. A repair kit also seems like a waste of a gear slot when playing sabotage.

Well I'm not sure what, if any plans I have for the weekend outside of a hockey game on Sunday afternoon, but I think I'll get in at least a few more hours over the weekend. Wouldn't mind hitting level 20 before the end of Sunday(currently level 17). Need to get in as much time as possible so I can take advantage of double XP next weekend.

My k/d just hit 0.8 up from the 0.6 low I was at after last weekend so I think I'm improving. A lot of that has to do with the predictability of Raven snipers on their Sabotage map and that I have played enough to know where they "hide".

Just got my steamroller silver trophy for a single game k/d of 3-1 with a 9 kill 3 death effort in a very quick attacking win against Raven in Sabotage. I've rarely ever been in a game on that map where we've even opened up point C, let alone take it in only 6 or 7 minutes.

That's because Valor sucks now apparently. I started with Raven initially, and they were the worst team. I stop playing for about 2 weeks after getting to Level 35 on Valor, then Raven's suddenly the best, WTF?

I did reach level 20 this morning, so my weekend goal was met with time to spare.

More people from here need to get this game. I've certainly enjoyed the game and it's not a genre that I'm really that in to. It does lack a lot of variety though, so if you get tired of maps quickly then you'll probably get bored with this game rather fast. I don't think I'd recommend paying $60 for it due to lack of single player and variety. It should have been sold like Warhawk was at either $40 standalone(which is how much I got MAG for) or $60 bundled with a headset.

I'd say that if you liked Warhawk you will probably like MAG as well.

MAG is certainly easier to pick up and play than Warhawk, that game is a little daunting, I know I would get straight owned if I was to pick it up now.

Warhawk has rookie servers that only allow the first 6 or 7 ranks access, so you'd be able to avoid those who have spent countless hours playing over the last 2 and a half years. Although I'm still on the last rank that is allowed in the rookie servers and I have about 80 hours of game time logged.

Most reviews I've read about both games put the learning curves somewhere between 5-10 hours. I think both are games that probably lose a lot of people during the 5-10 hours but those that make it through are glad they stuck with it.

With Warhawk the hardest part is really learning to fly the Warhawks, which is something you don't have to do if you don't want to. I'm a ground troop and that's the way I like it. I can handle myself in a Warhawk if I have to, but it's not something I've put much time into. I think I briefly had a sub 1.0 k/d when I first got the game, but quickly got it over 1 so I never had any problem with the learning curve, although I did buy the game on launch day.

You should have bought Warhawk when the PSN had it on sale for $14.99 if for nothing else to give it a solid try.
