I tried the demo.... hated it. I dunno, I bought Final Fight Double Impact like a few days before I tried the demo and Final Fight was just so much more fun to play again, while Scott Pilgrim seemed very.... meh.

This game is basically an updated River City Ransom with more moves, better graphics, more gameplay, great boss fights, and up to 4 players. Any game that can be compared to RCR is awesome as it is. Final Fight is shit compared to River City Ransom, the BEST Beat 'em up of the 8/16 bit era. I dont really need to explain why, since Final Fight's only advantage over it is graphics, and the graphics look like poorly animated Street Fighter 2 sprites, and don't make me go into the fact that Streets of Rage was a better game anyway. ![]() River City REPRESENT! Hopefully Online Co-Op will either get patched into the PS3 version or the 360 version will get it, its a shame it is not in this one.

How is a beat em up boring? There's multiple difficulty levels if you found it too easy.

It's not that I found it too easy... it's that I found I wasn't having fun. I dunno, I think nostalgia works in Final Fight, River City Ransom and Streets of Rage's favour. You remember the game and it's nice to relive the memories. Scott Pilgrim is just a beat 'em up done in an 8 bit style and, maybe, that's where beat 'em ups belong. |

Just played the demo and it was rather dull. It does share many similarities with River City Ransom, but it's missing the personality that made RCR special.

They made beat-em ups because they didn't have the technology to make anything else. God of War is a modern day beat-em up.
