Gotcha.

Yes you move slow because you have a big sword or hammer or whatever, but if you wear light gear you move light..

Remember this isnt a FPS where you turn and shoot.. You actually need to plan your swings and not just button mash :P.. I think some people forget that.. Try playing Phantasy Star Online and Button mash the combo's, I'm sure you'll do well.

I've got Phantasy Star Online on Dreamcast. I liked it.

From what I'm hearing though, this doesn't sound too great. Might skip it. Too many other games to worry about.

Still need to buy Galaxy 2, and Other Mi s on the way.

It seems to be a good game, but not something everyone will enjoy as the whole game revolves around grinding. But I haven't played it yet, so I could be wrong.

Not in the traditional sense it doesn't. As you have no experience points or stat level increases, it can't have grinding in the traditional MMO sense. Rather you "grind" for materials to build better weapons and armor to suit your needs. Rather it better to say the whole game revolves around Quests with no incentive to complete them, same sort of MMO mentality really(outside of the I'm going to fight xx for two hours so I level up).

the game revolves around hitting an endless swarm of chicken raptors with a log in slow motion

I heard this was the best selling Monster Hunter in the US, so it's got that going for it.
