|  MS Increases the Price of XBL!
Beginning November 1st, for most people: Price change for Xbox LIVE Gold subscription - Xbox Live's Major Nelson Quote:
It sucks, though. Figured they'd be lessening the price rather than raising it! Hopefully they'll add more than just better voice support in the next update. Edit: Seems most people's 1-year price is still safe, it's only the US folks seeing an increase there. It's if you pay monthly in other countries where you'll have an increase. | |

It's true - I'm one of 'em. It's a pisser, but $10 a year, which isn't even $1 a month, isn't exactly going to break the bank. I just hope this means a bunch of new and cool options. |

I'm glad the Euro price didn't go up at least, but for the rest it's a bit of a dick move. Also, people who pay full price for Gold are suckers. There's enough deals to be found in stores and online. I've never paid full price for a 12 month subscription.

I'm a sucker. I just hand MS my credit card and let them do with it as they please. I can't complain, though - I use XBL more than I do my cell phone, and I pay about 15X more per month for that plan than I do XBL. |
