A viral website launched by Ubisoft has sparked fierce debate amongst Tom Clancy franchise fans, with many speculating that a new title is inbound which will tie the likes of Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six together!

jsf28555833-80604722.com is at the root of the debate, featuring the face of what appears to be an injured soldier and an info stream of classified text scrolling on screen...
This vidi-printer style readout contains numerous clues as well as clickable audio clips that further cement the links to previous Clancy franchises. Mention of the Cross-Com system, Ghost teams and splinter cells are all obvious pointers towards a merging of ideas and perhaps gameplay styles from previous iterations in those specific series. And in addition, the Ubisoft homepages for Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon have each been updated with mock news stories relating back to this “JSF” website.

So is this indeed a new IP or merely a pre-cursor to sequel announcements for each existing next-gen brand? Most are hoping for the former, with 'JSF' already being dubbed as Joint Strike Force in forums worldwide.

Whatever the case, an official announcement cannot be far off.
